Global Canadian Pharmacy wants customers to understand the cost of an order before payment is submitted. The price shown for a medication applies to the particular product, options and quantity listed on the website at that time, and customers should review these details carefully before completing the purchase because another strength, manufacturer or quantity may have a different price.
Prices may change when manufacturers, suppliers or dispensing pharmacies adjust their own costs. When this happens, the website may be updated to reflect the new amount, but Global Canadian Pharmacy does not simply replace the price of an existing order without addressing the change when customer approval is required.
What Is Included in the Total
Depending on the order, the amount shown before payment may include:
- the price of the medication or other product;
- applicable dispensing or service charges;
- applicable taxes;
- other charges clearly identified during checkout.
Any charge collected directly by Global Canadian Pharmacy should be shown as part of the transaction before the customer completes payment. Costs connected with delivery are handled separately under our Shipping and Delivery information.
Currency
Customers should check the currency shown during checkout, especially when ordering from outside Canada. If a bank card or payment account uses another currency, the financial institution may convert the transaction using its own exchange rate and may also add a foreign transaction or currency conversion fee.
These charges are set by the bank or payment provider, not by Global Canadian Pharmacy, which is why the amount appearing on a customer’s final statement can sometimes differ from the amount originally charged by us.
How Payment Is Processed
Payment is handled through the payment method available for the order. Depending on the bank or payment provider, an amount may first appear on the customer’s account as a temporary authorization before it becomes a completed charge.
An authorization and a completed payment are not always the same thing. If an order does not continue, the way the amount is released or returned can depend on whether the transaction was still pending or had already been completed, as well as on the processing rules used by the customer’s financial institution.
Payment Does Not Replace Pharmacy Approval
Paying for an order does not always mean that the medication is ready to be dispensed. Some prescription orders still need to be reviewed by the pharmacy after checkout, and if the pharmacist needs additional information or cannot approve the medication as submitted, the order may not move forward until that issue is resolved.
If a Price Is Incorrect
Global Canadian Pharmacy keeps the prices on the website updated as regularly as possible, but an incorrect amount can still appear from time to time. If we notice that a price is wrong before the order has been completed, we may pause the order and contact the customer with the correct amount before anything moves forward.
Once an error has been confirmed, we will not continue processing the order using the incorrect price.
Questions About a Payment
If a charge shown on a bank or card statement does not look as expected, customers can contact Global Canadian Pharmacy with the order number and enough information to identify the transaction. We can review amounts charged directly through our service and explain what appears in our order records. Fees added independently by a bank, card issuer or currency provider are outside our control and may need to be reviewed with that organization directly.
